Catch 22 are amazing (well, when they had Tomas Kalnoky), and if you like ska or ska punk or just good music, go and buy some of their stuff, now. I found out about them a while ago, and went and bought a ton of their stuff off iTunes. They really are fantastic. They play a kind of laid back, yet heavy, melodic ska, with plenty of variety within their songs. Some are pop-punky, some are reggae, but all of them (well nearly) are fantastic. They're full of catchiness and musicality. Massive gang vocals, great harmonies, lots of horns, and some darn good ska. So yeah, if you like ska, go and pick up a copy of Keasbey Nights, 'cause its one of the best third wave ska albums out there (if not the best, and honestly, if you can think of a better one tell me!). I don't joke, it really is. On another note, their new stuff isn't that great, but to be honest, Keasbey Nights makes up for that by being so brilliant.
OK, I'm over flattering them now, but seriously, go buy it. On another note, song writer Tomas Kalnoky re-recorded it with Streetlight Manifesto (after he left Catch 22), but to be honest, it sounds pretty similar, so stick with the original.
I recommend their other stuff as well, just not as much, without Tomas Kalnoky, Catch 22 are just a good ska band, instead of a fantastic ska band. I've said enough, now it's your turn to go buy them. If you haven't already (though I can't see any reason not to have already done so).

. I'd be happy to feature your band! Just write me a quick note saying what type of music you play, maybe a link to your website/MySpace, and include a link to a few downloadable songs if you can (submissions without samples are usually disregarded).
